A Little About Me

My name is Jennifer Machado and I think teaching is the best job in the world!

I am originally from Mississauga, Ontario. I did my undergrad at University of Toronto where I graduated with Honours, majoring in both Sociology and Psychology. I also have a minor in Business Writing.

I attended teachers college at Medaille College, earning my Masters of Education. I am qualified to teacher primary and junior grades. I have acquired additional qualification courses, specifically Teaching Students with Communication Needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and Special Education, Part 1. I am currently working on completing Special Education, Part 2.

I began teaching in 2010 with the Halton District School Board. I taught Grade 1 and Grade 6 students at Munn’s Public School. In 2012, I moved to Tom Thompson Public School where I taught Grades 1 and 2 and Grades 4 and 5.

I am currently one of the gifted teachers at Charles R. Beaudoin Public School having taught both Grade 6 and Grade 7.
