One of my favourite pastimes is watching films. I love all kinds of films. You will often find me quoting family friendly films in class. I have watched many ‘kid’ movies in my time!
Over the past few years, I have enjoyed going to see independent films at the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). But did you know TIFF has a is kid-friendly festival too called TIFF Kids International Film Festival? If you think you can make your own movie, check out their submission process. 2017 TIFF Kids International Film Festival submissions are now open.
Are you NOT a movie maker but you LOVE to critique movies? Well, you are in luck! You can also apply to become a TIFF Kids Jury member. If you are between the ages of 8 and 13 and love movies, send them a film review and you could be one of their Young People’s Jury members at the 20th annual TIFF Kids International Film Festival. TIFF Kids Festival takes place from April 7 to 23, 2017. Click on this link to learn more about this cool opportunity.
